Scope of the role:
The role sits within one of OMD’s most valuable account teams, servicing one of our major telco brands. The team is highly passionate about providing creative, analytical, and innovative solutions to the client while delivering dynamic operations. As an Associate Director, you will be the face of OMD, develop relationships with clients, and be seen by clients as a valuable member of the Performance team who adds value to the business.
The role requires you to:
- Design digital media strategies based on marketing briefs, communication objectives/strategies, consumer insights, and segments/competitive scenarios. Strategies include online mobile, and other digital activities (such as SEM, paid Social, Display, Video, Mobile, and Programmatic buying) to strategize multiple Segments of Interest, Affinity, and demographics along with the Remarketing List definition
- Manage complex digital engagement initiatives from implementation to measurement and reporting of progress and indicated actions for all campaigns.
- Consult with clients and internal teams to design, develop, and implement strategies and tactics to achieve digital engagement goals.
- Analyse client and title performance marketing effectiveness
- Lead a team of managers optimizing paid digital media across different channels.
- Strong media platform knowledge across Google, Meta, TikTok, and Twitter products
- Manage and track media budget & digital KPIs.
- Partner with clients in different lines of business to strategize and implement applicable test campaigns, analyze campaign performance across key metrics, and ensure flawless execution.
- Work with the media planning team to service clients and provide solutions with experienced technical and analytical digital knowledge.
- Lead the digital performance conversations through leadership and oversee operations. Ensure delivery against best practices and set new benchmarks in performance both internally and with clients
- To drive digital conversations and solutions beyond just paid media optimization across owned and earned media optimization such as Web Analytics (GA4), SEO, content optimization, CRO and Data Analytics to improve overall agency’s deliveries on campaign performance
- Lead digital innovation by initiating test and learn initiatives. Build case studies with a thorough understanding and knowledge of the digital landscape and the latest market and industry trends and updates.
- Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly digital performance reviews. Guide team on overall presentation flow and ensure building story through data.
- Collaborate with the planning team to keep track of market competitiveness and report on regular intervals.
- Upscale digital performance team reporting management. Provide ongoing detailed reporting & media learnings, campaign optimization recommendations with point of view & justifications with weekly and monthly cadence
- Able to lead, train, and upskill the team.
Required Skills or Attributes:
- Min. 8-9 years in digital media and digital planning experience
- Leadership skills in building and operation excellence for the teams and partners
- Strong and confident articulation and communication skills
- Always seeking new ideas/ inspirations to bring fresh perspectives to client work.
- Able to challenge and provide intelligent feedback to clients and key stakeholders.
- Strong people management, problem-solving, and proficient time management skills.
- Strong data interpretation and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail with elevated levels of accuracy
- Having experience in client servicing and digital media planning to provide innovative and effective solutions
- Passionate about the media and communications industry and desire to achieve new business growth in a demanding landscape
- Demonstrate genuine passion and curiosity in our client & their business.
- Strong experience with Meta, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X platforms preferred.
- DV360 experience is also preferred
