ASSISTANT PROJECT PURCHASING OFFICER

Support the Project Purchasing Officer in sourcing and purchasing materials and equipment. • Assist in gathering quotations and helping to negotiate with suppliers for better pricing and terms. • Help maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth supply chain operations. • Assist in following up with suppliers on order status, ensuring timely delivery to meet project timelines. • Monitor inventory levels and assist in coordinating with site teams to ensure that all required materials are available without delays. • Help track and record stock movements, ensuring accurate inventory documentation. • Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and delivery schedules. • Assist with the preparation of procurement reports and budget tracking. • Assist in ensuring that all purchased materials comply with project specifications and quality standards. • Help conduct basic inspections and quality checks for received materials. • Work closely with site managers and project teams to coordinate material requirements. • Assist in resolving any procurement issues or delivery delays by liaising with relevant departments and suppliers.
