Media Intern

Qualifications & experience

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a diploma or degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Multimedia, Design, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of social media platforms (Meta, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc)
• Familiarity with content creation tools like Canva, Photoshop, Final Cut, Adobe illustrator
• Good communication and writing skills in English
• Comfortable with Mac OS and familiar with working on Mac-based software and tools
• Knowledge of basic marketing concepts and social media strategies
• A portfolio showcasing relevant work (e.g., social media posts, graphics, videos, or photography) is highly encouraged but not mandatory
• Fresh graduates and students are encouraged to apply, as long as they show eagerness to learn

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assist with product photography, video shoots, and editing
• Write captions and create engaging posts to promote the shop's products or services
• Collaborate with the team on promotional ideas and strategies
• Create simple designs for social media posts, banners and flyers
• Conduct research on current trends and target audience
• Track the performance of campaigns and social media posts
• Set up and manage the technical aspects of live streams, including lighting, camera, and audio
• Engage with the audience during the live stream by responding to comments and questions
• Any ad-hoc duties assign by management

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship, Fresh graduate
Contract length: 28 weeks

Pay: From RM1,500.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
