Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain full-cycle accounting processes, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to aid in financial planning
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements in multiple jurisdictions
- Assist in year-end audits and tax preparations
- Provide strategic financial advice to support decision-making for growth, cost reduction, and risk management
- Implement or optimize accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) tailored to the client's needs
- Proven experience (5+ years) as an accountant, with a strong grasp of GAAP/IFRS
- Excellent Excel skills and proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent
- Strong command of English
- Experience in fractional, freelance, or project-based accounting roles is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple clients/projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is preferred
