Field Service Technician - Controls

Job Summary

Your role is to provide planned maintenance, equipment repair, and troubleshooting assistance for the equipment covered under the scope of agreement.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities
• Submit parts requirements to customer upon completion of assigned job
• Submit a report to the customer and AGTS server upon completion of assigned job
• Optimize the maintenance schedule, work plans, and procedures for customer
• Analyse customers' spare parts inventory stored on-site
• Perform troubleshooting during unit outages
• Compilation of list of spare parts and consumables required for scheduled maintenance activities and notify customers in advance to purchase if required
• To carry out duties assigned related to the position, but not limited to:

1. Surveillance visits
2. Planned Maintenance assistance
3. Action Tracking Register assistance
4. Troubleshooting assistance
5. Non-fleet management services maintenance

• Perform package mechanical parts inspection, maintenance and testing
• Inspection, maintenance, and testing on supporting package of the engine control system
• Perform gas turbine engine removal/power turbine/compressor and installation
• To assist FSR to ensure PLC control/instrumentation system is in excellent condition
• To perform unit start-up assistance
• Perform assignment in adverse conditions and climates

Qualification

• You should possess a Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Marine Engineering, preferably with working experience in the aerospace, marine, process plant or oil and gas industry

Experience

• Knowledge and working experience on engines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors and generators with instrument & control systems such as PLCs manufactured by Allen Bradley, Modicon, Triconex, Yokogawa, GE or its equivalent would be an added advantage
• You must be willing to travel at short notice
• Preferably Sarawakian
