Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for railway projects, considering
factors such as budget, timeline, resources, and stakeholder
requirements.
• Lead the planning and scheduling of project activities, ensuring adherence
to project timelines and milestones.
• Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies and risk assessments for
proposed projects, identifying potential challenges and mitigation
strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering,
operations, finance, and legal, to define project scope, objectives, and
deliverables.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track project
progress and performance against established goals.
• Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and resource allocations, making
adjustments as necessary to ensure financial targets are met.
• Oversee procurement activities related to project materials, equipment,
and services, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and
regulations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a
collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
• Prepare and present regular reports on project status, performance
metrics, and key milestones to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related
field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning and project
management, with a focus on railway infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of railway systems, technologies, and regulatory
requirements.
• Proven track record of successfully planning and executing complex
railway projects from inception to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate
and address project challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft
Project or Primavera P6.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and
inspire team members to achieve project objectives.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English and Malay languages, both written and verbal
