This role Reports to: Marketing Director - Oral Care

What would be the responsibilities for this role?

This role plays an integral role in driving market share and business growth, driving volume and strengthening equity of the Toothbrush, Devices & Mouthwash category. The incumbent will run the full business management of the brand, from conceptualization, implementation and evaluation of consumer marketing programs which involve but are not limited to Product, Pricing, Promotions, Placement, POPs, and Advertising/Communication (across mainstream and emerging touch points ie TV, Radio, Digital etc).

The scope of this role comprises the South ASEAN Hub (Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei & Indonesia).

  • Managing the assigned portfolio to achieve net sales, margin, profit and share targets.
  • Developing and executing brand Go-to-Market plans that is fully aligned to business objectives
  • Find opportunities to drive financial efficiency to fuel the growth (e.g. pricing opportunities & cost optimizations)
  • Development and implementation of the plans (include implementing brand strategies, assisting all business financials, and annual budget process) that will establish and maintain current and long-range marketing plans for the brand.
  • Lead development & alignment of mid-year review & budget review process for the assigned portfolio.
  • Manage the development of ‘path to purchase’ plans, for example brand activation, PR or others including post campaign analysis.
  • Manage advertising and promotions budget for the assigned portfolio
  • Partner with the shopper team to implement Brand Activation programmes as part of the shopper marketing process
  • Ensure timely communication as required with key internal stakeholders on category issues or activities (Retail Marketing, Customer Development, CS&L, Finance, Consumer Affairs, Consumer Insights, Division Marketing, and Country GMs).
  • Own the development of the annual brand plan for assigned portfolio and ensure full stakeholder buy-in.
  • Support in the development of revenue growth and category growth plans and the mid-year review and annual budget process.

What does the ideal candidate profile look like?

  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Brand management experience of minimum 5 years
  • Strikes the right balance of demonstrating consistent brand passion with objective, fact-based decision making
  • Strong learning ability and creative thinking.
  • Able to work independently
  • Digital savvy - knowledge on digital strategies and trends, have worked with e-platforms and digital agencies with proven results
