Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the country sales strategy for building materials, aligning with regional and global objectives.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify new business opportunities, including new market segments and products.
  • Build relationships with key clients, contractors, distributors, and stakeholders within the construction industry.

Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team, ensuring a high-performance culture.
  • Set clear performance goals and conduct regular reviews to ensure the team meets targets.

Business Development:

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Develop pricing strategies, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands.
  • Provide regular market feedback and adjust strategies as necessary.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
  • Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to ensure continuous growth.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the building materials sector, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in leading sales teams, handling large accounts, and working with contractors or suppliers in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of building materials, including cement, aggregates, steel, coatings, and other construction-related products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and regionally as required.
