Responsibilities of the role

A. To maintain all safety guidelines within GMP factory & halal related factory

B. Production Routine:

Lead a team of Line Leaders and Workers to ensure that manufacturing of bulk and packaging of finished goods are in accordance with Company approved procedures in the relevant activities in-charged:

Production Schedule:

Prepare weekly Production schedules and arrange manpower required to achieve the target.

Update production progress on a timely basis, report any deviation against schedule.

Referring to monthly production requirement, work closely with Planners to ensure sufficient planned orders for smooth continuous production.

Dispensing / Requesting & Returning of Component

Supervise the dispensing of raw materials, requesting sufficient component required for filling and return balances to raw and pack store, as stipulated on BMR.

Ensure only components required for immediate production are requested and kept on the factory floor.

Manufacturing, Filling & Packaging

Manufacture the bulk as per manufacturing procedures. Clearly record the quantity, parameters used in actual activities for trace ability.

Report to higher level should the actual results deviate from standard.

Records

Report and reconcile output for every batch of product on a timely basis.

Ensure records in BMR are in order before batch of bulk / finished goods report in SAP.

C. Housekeeping & Productive maintenance

In coordination with the Maintenance Department, to ensure production machineries / equipment are kept in efficient operating condition and working environment are compliance to GMP requirements.

To ensure the housekeeping in the production area is carried out as per schedule and approved procedures.

To ensure the team adheres to personal hygiene requirements.

To ensure the sanitization of the tanks / nozzles and other production utensils carried out as per schedule and work instruction.

To ensure the cleaning up of used drums / plastic bags on timely basis, and the disposal of chemical waste as per documented procedure.

To ensure Deionized Water System are well maintained for use.

D. Reports / Upkeep Records:

Verify workers attendance, overtimes actual versus TMS.

Summarize monthly output, line efficiency, productivity, equipment utilization and other Production KPI as required.

Report issues affecting the production efficiency and quality of product.

Any production data as deem necessary.

E. Training & Motivation

To train production staff to instill continued quality and efficiency consciousness.

To orientate and perform on-the-job training for new staff on Company approved procedures.

To motivate and instill general discipline among the staff.

To assist the preparation of Work Instruction for handling equipment / machines and steps for manufacturing.

F. Attending meetings to follow up short term / medium term production requirements or any area concerning production activities.

G. Adhere to procedural set-in accordance to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and GMP requirements.

H. Manage and maintain various operating systems related to work scope (e.g. manufacturing execution system, OEE monitoring system, warehouse management system).

What you will need

• At least 3 years of experience as Production & GMP knowledge in the personal care industry.
• Supervisor or in similar role
• Familiar with manufacturing environment & mechnical machinary
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
• Advanced skills in MS Office, Excel Sheet
• Good organizational and leadership skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a result driven approach.
• Good problem-solving skills.
