JOB SUMMARY

The Ethical Compliance Advisor will provide advisory services on ethical issues, assist in interpreting ethical policies, and support departments in ethical decision-making by offering guidance and recommendations based on best practices and organisational standards. This role involves developing and delivering ethics training programs, organising awareness campaigns, and creating educational materials on ethical standards and practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advisory Services: Provide expert advice on ethical issues, helping departments interpret and apply ethical policies.
  • Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver comprehensive ethics training programs, organise awareness campaigns, and create educational materials to promote ethical behaviour within the organisation.
  • Policy Review & Development: Regularly review and update the organisation & code of ethics and related policies to reflect industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Assist in developing new policies to address emerging ethical issues.
  • Compliance Reporting: Prepare regular reports on ethical compliance activities for senior management, including audit results and training outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of all compliance activities, including audits, investigations, and training sessions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed and up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in ethical compliance. Integrate relevant updates into the organisation & policies and collect feedback from employees and stakeholders to continuously improve the ethical compliance framework.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a unified approach to ethical compliance. Address inter-departmental issues and engage with external stakeholders to align the organization & ethical standards with external expectations and requirements.
  • Integrity Reinforcement: Support the development and execution of awareness and education programs for departments, regional offices, and branches. Ensure continuous reinforcement of ethical behaviour and integrity standards.
  • Raid Protocol Support: Assist in coordinating matters related to raid protocols, including pre-raid preparation, communication, post-raid follow-up, and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess a Bachelor Degree or Bachelor Degree (Honours) in Ethics, Mass Communication/ Public Relations or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government from any local or overseas higher learning institutions.
  • Around 3 years of relevant experience in ethical compliance, policy development, and training delivery.
  • Must have relevant understanding of ethical principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex ethical issues and provide clear, actionable guidance.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent as recognized by the Malaysian Government.
