Description

Management of Industrial Relations function:

Management of HR Compliance function:

  • Draft and update HR compliance policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Provide compliance support in accordance with shared services agreements with OABB, E2P, OCBC Labuan, and OCBC Advisors.
  • Oversee the management of the annual screening exercise, including CTOS checks and court adjudicated records checks
  • Manage the division's business continuity plan.
  • Manage the annual Fit & Proper assessment for KSMOs in compliance with BNM requirements and connected parties declaration.
  • Communicate any new or revised compliance/risk-related matters to HR employees.
  • Provide advisory services on all compliance and risk-related matters to all HR functions, ensuring relevant policies and regulations are identified, translated, and communicated effectively.
  • Conduct compliance/risk-related trainings for HR employees as needed.
  • Perform gap analysis for any new guidelines issued by BNM pertaining to IR and compliance matters.
  • Oversee the employee conduct trigger program and related communications.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in law degree with 8 to 10 years of related working experience in Industrial Relations and HR Compliance.

  • Well versed with the Malaysian employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong conflict management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations effectively.
  • Good/advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
