The Head, Rewards & Policies position is responsible for formulating and strategizing the Bank’s rewards philosophy, structure and system to support the overall human capital strategy of attracting and retaining employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and review the development of pay (base, variable, incentives), rewards and recognition to ensure the bank remains competitive in the market, from entry level to senior roles.
  • Lead and review all rewards related initiative/projects in the banking group.
  • Ensure regular benchmarking and market related pay research is undertaken when necessary to enable the Bank to remain competitive and an employer of choice.
  • Review all rewards related matters and to propose necessary changes to support overall rewards philosophy taking into consideration financial implications, market practice, adherence to Hong Leong Group policy and alignment to Bank's overall direction.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of related policies, procedures and systems to support the delivery of the Bank’s Rewards strategy. Point of reference for all rewards related policy matters; providing sound and accurate advice to HR Business Partners and line of business as and when needed.

Job Requirements

  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college required in Human Resources, Business or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of HR experience with strong focus on rewards and policies. Consulting and banking experience will be an added advantage.
