Job Summary

The Business Development Assistant Manager assists and supports the Head of Growth to generate leads, contact potential customers; nurture and maintain existing customer relationships. The Business Development Assistant Manager supports customers in decision-making by identifying and offering solutions aligning to customers’ requirements by working closely with the senior leaders and other departments in Borong

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Provide insights to support strategic decision-makings.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Growth to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals and and executing short and long term business development plans.
  • Understand customers needs and requirements and offer solutions and support to address their needs and requirements.
  • Ensure sales pipeline in CRM is diligently updated – consistently updating existing and new opportunities week on week and progressing any opportunity sales motion from creation to closing.
  • Work closely with the team to onboard new customers to ensure a smooth transition and onboarding process.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development to ensure cohesive and aligned efforts towards growth initiatives.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in B2B trading, wholesaling
  • Bachelor Degree in business, marketing, or equivalent.
  • Verbal and written communication - ability to understand and clearly communicate with customers and internal teams
  • Analytical skill - ability to gather and analyse data to monitor industry trends, identify business opportunities, and provide consultation to customers
  • Stakeholder management - ability to build and maintain relationships with customers across all levels
