Job Responsibilities

What you will do:

Brand Strategy

  • Strategize in the creation and implementation of plans for Premium Content & Astro First platform that will make an impact, support the brand and products and drive sales.
  • Evaluating new IPs and concepts enhancing our premium content pipeline from theatrical films, New Films, and any content suitable on Astro first. (FRF and Normal AF).
  • Provide assistance in identifying and realization of new partnership(s) & integration opportunities which enhances and promotes the brands, negotiate, and develop schemes or programs to benefit both parties.
  • Brainstorm and collaborate with team for new ideas and content strategies.
  • Identifies content creating, target audience, relevant objectives and with clear projected results in mind.
  • Collaborate with content Development teams, Business Development Team and Group Marketing and other stakeholders for any possibility to meet the requirement for the project.
  • Setting guidelines for the tone, style, and voice of all brand content from pre-production..
  • Responsibilities include determining which formats best communicate various types of content, identifying ways to increase content brand awareness.
  • Assisting in research, market analysis and communications research for the company.

Content Marketing

  • Creation and implementation 360 innovative marketing and media strategies through content marketing, sponsorship and digital solutions that will build our film brands leading to increased sales, awareness, revenue, relevance, and loyalty.
  • Assisting planning, organizing, and coordinating various types of company and film events include any on ground activities within third parties and to coordinate meeting with project champion and other related parties to determine details about events.
  • Also, to execute and track the success of marketing operations throughout the company, whether it is exhibitions, trade shows, previews, launches.
  • Design and create all marketing and collateral marketing product presentation, materials and promotion material.
  • Design artwork for advertising & promotion such as catalogue, brochure, facebook picture, flyers, etc.
  • Support and build up Company image and branding.
  • Supports the Marketing efforts, Publicity/Media Relations efforts and distribution for films releases. Which includes liaising with distributors, exhibitors, film studios, film makers, producers, publicists and advertising agencies.
  • Working together in submitting the OAP Priority List (up-to 2 titles each segment channel & sharing media airtime with Astro Best) weekly on what title to push across channels.
  • Discussion meeting with all stakeholders to strategize the push plan of new offering content of the month.
  • Coming up with fresh idea / concept / thematic of promo to boost up the promotion of the content.
  • Recommend highlight for cross-promo on channels at all platforms based on target audiences and titles language.
  • Check and Approve promo materials. Producer will share the promo for approval. Liaison with producer to give confirmation on TX details, concept of the promo cut, and what to improve.
  • Need to prepare material for request of any publicity materials ie. poster via email to requester for creative integration/ campaign from other parties. ie. Group marketing for titles push on creative integration. ii. Monthly Brite Bill and any ad-hoc ie. Astro 25 Reward.
  • Creating the strategy, integration plan across all possible platform ie. TV, Radio, social media to support titles launch.
  • Present to producer to align and agreeable on the integration plan flow.
  • Ensure support for marketing with producers taking charge of the marketing initiatives and strategy, preparing, and sharing over to us all the promotional materials including digital posting via daily basis.

Who You Are

  • You possess at least a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Journalism, Mass Communications, Advertising/Media, Linguistics/Languages or equivalent
  • Previous experience in broadcast/publishing companies with exposure to multimedia development is essential.
  • Strong command of English - written and spoken.
  • A team player with strong communication skills and a thorough grasp of the competitive landscape, strong news judgement and an awareness of what's buzzing in the digital space.
  • Able to perform interviews and write-up of the publications.
  • Flexible, quick thinking, energetic, efficient, and able to work independently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Requires interacting with content providers and employees.
  • Ability to perform well under tight deadlines and easily adapt to change
