Position: IT Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting HOD IT and contributing to the formulation of IT and cybersecurity strategies /initiatives aligned with the company’s objectives.
2. Assisting HOD IT to assess current technology trends and determine how can be leveraged to meet organization’s needs.
3. Assisting HOD IT to develop and strategies for IT Operations to support the organization’s growth and objectives.
4. Oversee the management of all information technology and computer systems, including software, hardware, network, security and IT infrastructure and Operations.
5. To monitor Project Management team in overseeing IT projects including new system, system enhancement, upgrades, migration and vendor management.
6. Ensure the availability of all core systems, reliability and security of IT systems and to support business operations.
7. To take any ad-hoc project and initiative as assigned by HOD IT and Senior Management, demonstrating flexibility and proactive approach to problem solving.
8. To work closely with other departments and its related companies for the establishment, development and improvement of new and existing products, services, business and risk management.
9. Formulate education program and to educate employees on the cybersecurity and others that related to IT services
10. Ability to demonstrate support for innovation and for organization changes needed to improve the organizations effectiveness
11. Ability to take responsibility for your own or the performance of those reporting to you by setting clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against the goals, ensuring feedback, and addressing performance problems and issues promptly.
12. Ability to analyze, develop, and propose strategies that will help the organization be more effective, competitive, or otherwise achieves its goals
13. Review and make recommendations for improvements to current infrastructure and solutions.
14. Ensure all IT related inventory, anti-virus software and other software licensing control is in place
15. Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
16. Liaise with external suppliers for the repair of equipment under warranty contract; and buying computer equipment or maintenance
17. Keeping up to date with industry trends and the latest developments in IT infrastructure and operations management.
18. Any other task which may be assigned to you / or your department from time to time.

Requirements:

1. Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
2. Strong and proven work experience in the IT sector with at least more than 5 years of relevant experience.
3. Good knowledge of software development lifecycle SDLC and Cloud technology.
4. Excellent organization and time management skills
5. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills/ team management skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills.
7. Solid organizational skills including attention to details and multi-tasking skills.
8. Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and lead a small IT team from scratch
9. Proven track record in managing IT projects, from planning to execution and delivery.
10. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Proficiency in relevant IT systems, networks, and software applications.
12. Knowledge of IT security best practices and data protection regulations.
13. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
14. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
