- To assist the Housekeeping Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring that all the policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Providing support, input and solution on all housekeeping matters.
- Implement and execute housekeeping’s programs and projects in line with the company’s group’s objectives.
- To ensure that the Department’s Operation Budget is strictly adhered to and that all costs are strictly controlled.
- Constantly strive to upgrade cleanliness in the guest rooms and public areas and exceed customer satisfaction and experience in the hotel.
- To assist the Housekeeping Manager on manpower planning for the department.
- Observe and feedback on laundry operation, uniform room and contract services issues.
- Ensure the smooth running of the department on a day–to–day basis. Scheduling shifts and allocating work.
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors and public area. Complete inspection reports. Ensure high standards in cleanliness and service is achieved and maintained.
- Ensure that guest arrivals and late departures are properly coordinated with Front Office for rooms to be released on time.
- Pre-booked arrival rooms must be checked and measures must be taken to contact Front Office if the room is not fit to be occupied.
REQUIRED:
At least one year similar position in other hotels
Housekeeping knowledge and system.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
