Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) for communication with Taiwan HQ
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Summary
The Accounts Clerk/Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping, and assisting in maintaining financial records. This role will include tasks such as processing invoices, managing payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Process and manage invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable ledgers for accuracy.
- Ensure timely payment of supplier invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
Data Entry & Record Keeping:
- Accurately input financial data into accounting systems.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of financial transactions.
- Update and reconcile the general ledger regularly.
Bank Reconciliation:
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Expense Management:
- Assist in managing expense reports, verifying claims, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Process employee reimbursements and ensure accurate documentation.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare basic financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist in generating reports required by management.
Tax & Compliance Support:
- Support the finance team in preparing tax documents and filing VAT/GST returns.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.
Audit Support:
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Ensure records are up-to-date and audit-ready.
Communication:
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and clients regarding payment and invoicing matters.
- Respond to queries from internal departments and external stakeholders promptly and professionally.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improving efficiency within the accounting processes.
- Support the implementation of accounting software or process upgrades as required.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
