Job Description:

The HVAC Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the hotel(IAEC)’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role ensures a comfortable environment for guests and staff by maintaining optimum air quality and temperature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Repair and replace defective parts in air conditioning and heating systems.
  • Ensure that the HVAC systems meet regulatory and safety standards.
  • Monitor and control energy usage to improve efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in HVAC systems.

Job Requirements:

  • Certificate in HVAC or Refrigeration Technology.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with HVAC systems, preferably in hotels or commercial buildings.
  • Familiarity with energy conservation techniques and efficient system operation.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple systems at once.
  • Willingness to respond to emergency calls outside regular working hours.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation. Be prepared to support and cover for other team members as needed to ensure continuous and efficient operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,547.48 - RM2,660.51 per month
