Job Description:

As a Business Development Executive / Sales Executive for our company, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our business. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and nurturing client relationships to increase sales and revenue. Your efforts will be instrumental in supporting the development and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Business Development:

Identify and research potential markets, industries, and clients to pursue new business opportunities. Develop and implement strategies to expand our customer base and penetrate new markets. Build and maintain a pipeline of leads and prospects through networking, cold calling, and market research.

2) Sales and Client Management:

Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and potential clients to understand their needs and promote our services. Conduct sales presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to win new business and achieve sales targets. Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts tailored to the specific requirements of clients and prospects.

3) Strategic Partnerships:

Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with other companies, organizations, and industry players to enhance our service offerings and market reach. Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing campaigns, cross-selling opportunities, and co-branded initiatives.

4) Market Analysis and Intelligence:

Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats. Gather and analyze data to assess market demand, pricing dynamics, and customer preferences. Use market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

5) Sales Planning and Reporting:

Develop and execute sales plans, targets, and forecasts in coordination with the sales team and management.Track sales performance metrics, analyze results, and prepare regular reports to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, logistics, or a related field.

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the shipping, logistics, or transportation industry.

- Strong sales acumen with a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders.

- Strategic thinker with analytical skills and the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities.

- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value and exceeding customer expectations.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in MS Office suite and Excel for sales planning, tracking, and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,600.00 per month
