About the Role
- Involve and lead in the development of various learning programmes and initiatives, in partnership with Group Talent Development team.
- Act as the accountable owner for specific projects and programs that inform and strengthen the employee skill level across geographies, business units and functions.
- Partner with key stakeholders such as store leaders and category merchants to ensure learning and development events are kept up to date and relevant, supporting store and merchandising strategy.
- Responsible for creating innovate, immersive and inspirational learning material, including but not limited to; leadership development, category and brand knowledge, customer experience standards, training material design and LMS content.
- On-The-Job Training Coordination: Arrange On-The-Job training schedules for retail stores with trainers according to the agreed schedule and manage any necessary rescheduling.
- Document Management: Send and collect important documents related to employee development initiatives, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and filed appropriately.
- Data Management: Perform minor data entry and analysis tasks to support the Learning and Development team.
Key Responsibilities Area:
Employee Experience Programme Design & Communication:
- ·Assist in the development of various learning programmes and initiatives, in partnership with the Senior Manager, Group Talent Development and AVP, Group Talent Development.
- Act as the accountable owner for specific projects and programmes that inform and strengthen the employee skill level across geographies, business units and functions.
- Partner with key stakeholders such as store leaders and category merchants to ensure learning and development events are kept up to date and relevant, supporting store and merchandising strategy.
Communications:
- Support in communicating various Talent Development initiatives and programmes to the Valiram organisation and wider external community
- Support the communication of educational programmes, policies, and practices.
- Attendance Tracking: Monitor and record employee attendance for all training sessions.
- Training Invitations: Send out invitations and reminders to employees for upcoming training sessions, ensuring all participants are informed.
- Logistics Coordination: Communicate and coordinate logistical arrangements, including training materials, venues, and other necessary resources.
- Survey Compilation: Gather and compile attendance data and post-training survey responses to assess the effectiveness of the training programs.
- Schedule Management: Assist in arranging and updating training schedules, ensuring smooth and timely execution of all sessions.
Partnership with Business Clients and Internal Customers:
- Establish strong partnership with business clients/internal customers to continuously remain aligned with current business issues and opportunities, as related to learning and development.
- Actively assist in the communication, alignment and implementation of learning and development related initiatives across the enterprise, in support of Valiram business goals and strategic objectives.
- As a key member of Valiram Learning & Development professionals, facilitate the understanding and delivery of global programs and strategies to the relevant regional & brand teams as well as facilitate the communication of organizational needs to the Global Talent Development team.
Position Specification:
Education
Minimum a Degree graduate or professional certificate in relevant field.
Professional Experience
Minimum 2 year of related experience in retail operations, human resources, learning and Development, trainings or similar setting.
Personal Attributes
- Knowledge and experience in multi-cultural environments.
- Strong passion for people development and human interaction learning initiatives.
- Strong Employee Relation acumen with experience in employee engagement communications.
- Exceptional writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate broad concepts into understandable messages
- Passionate and curious about human behavior and culture.
- Strong verbal and written English (essential), Bahasa (essential) and Thai (preferred)
- Proficient in MS Microsoft; PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Canva and Photoshop
- Independent and reliable teammate to nurture positive culture within the team
Languages
Fluent English, both in written and spoken. Knowledge of other language(s) is an added advantage.
