Position Overview

The National Sales Manager will oversee and drive the sales activities for our assigned product range across Malaysia. This role involves leading, managing, and developing the sales team to achieve profitability and growth in alignment with the company’s vision and values. The successful candidate will develop and implement national strategies to expand our business and contribute to the training and development of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • P&L Responsibility: Manage full P&L responsibility for the Channel & Project segments, focusing on AHS, AAS, and ACS project clusters through direct leadership and training of the Sales Team.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute quarterly and annual sales strategies to enhance market coverage and penetration.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop the sales team, setting clear performance targets and conducting regular coaching sessions.
  • Market Optimization: Allocate resources effectively across projects and territories to maximize sales opportunities for all team members.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry leaders to influence sales strategies.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Partner with the Marketing Department to develop marketing plans and ensure brand presence at events.
  • Sales Performance Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate team performance, ensuring all activity standards for sales processes are met or exceeded.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards within the sales team.

Qualifications

  • Possess bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field with at least 10 years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in a national capacity and similar industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of team development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on results.
