Assistant Manager, Treasury

Company :

Banking Facilities:

• Monitoring all banking facilities /trade financing activities within the division to ensure compliance with all banking’s terms and deadlines.
• Assisting in negotiation with the terms on the banking facilities
• Managing bank facilities setup, increased in facilities limit, etc
• Assisting and advising other departments on the potential currency exposures in their contract negotiations and/or operations.

Treasury Compliance:

• Establish and maintain proper internal control measures to ensure compliance of Company’s Internal Policy as well as all Regulatory Requirements
• Ensure all the controls in the process are followed and implemented
• Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures on all Treasury activities
• Ensuring the Group follows laws and regulations in all Treasury dealings and transactions
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of all laws and regulations requirements and communication of the same to all levels of working operations to ensure compliance

Treasury Business Performance and Management:

• Planning of funding strategy towards achieving the cost efficiency in line with funding/risk management policy and guidelines
• Setting up new funding program

• Assist in overall Treasury operation management and operation
• Active in process improvements in Treasury to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in work methods.

Treasury reporting:

• Prepare monthly/ quarterly reporting required according to Bank Negara’s requirements (IIP, statistic, etc)

The jobholder is not confined or exclusive to the above-mentioned key responsibilities and may be required to perform other duties as and when required by the immediate supervisor and or management of Sime Darby Industrial Malaysia Group.
