The Project Interface Engineer will join our client’s team to contribute to a detailed design project for an autonomous wellhead platform with living quarters. The role is focused on managing interfaces between various engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination across the project. Working closely with an EPC Contractor based in Europe. This role is based at the Tokyo Marine Life Insurance Tower, KLCC, for a 12-month duration starting this month.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate interfaces between various engineering disciplines, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Utilize the AVEVA suite (P&IDs, E3D, Electrical, Instrumental) to manage interfaces and ensure project data integration.
  • Identify and resolve interface issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Support the development and implementation of interface management plans.
  • Ensure all interface-related activities comply with project design specifications and timelines.
  • Coordinate interface meetings and facilitate cross-discipline collaboration to mitigate project risks.
  • Provide regular reports on interface management status and updates to project management teams.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in interface management within large-scale engineering projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, with excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with EPC projects and interface management strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to track and manage multiple interfaces simultaneously.
  • Willingness to be based in Kuala Lumpur for the duration of the project.
