Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Merchant Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new merchant clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth through the sale of our payment processing solutions. This role requires strong sales skills, a deep understanding of the payments industry, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential merchant clients through research, networking, and referrals. Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct effective sales presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing our payment processing solutions and their benefits.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants, providing ongoing support and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to effectively position our services in the market.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies and ensure the development of targeted sales materials.
  • Reporting: Track sales activities and results in CRM software, providing regular updates and forecasts to management.

  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the payment processing or financial services industry.
    • Strong understanding of payment solutions, merchant services, and POS systems.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Self-motivated with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
