What would you do?
Learning and Development:
- Lead in the development, coordination, and delivery of training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Guide HRBP to conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
- Own Learning Management System (LMS) with its key features.
- Own effectiveness of training programs based on feedback, assessments & performance metrics.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of high-impact training programs and learning experiences that enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, leveraging data to continuously improve offerings
- Lead the creation of training materials, including manuals, guides, and online resources.
- Schedule and organize training sessions, including securing venues, materials, and instructors.
- Responsible for overall management & reporting of HRDC system and its fund.
Talent Management & Succession Planning:
- Develop and implement talent assessment processes to identify high-potential employees and support their growth within the organization.
- Monitor and update Top Talents Program.
- Lead the implementation of succession planning processes.
- Maintain and update succession planning documentation and records.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Own reports on training participation, effectiveness, and other key metrics.
- Own the effectiveness and impact assessment of learning and development activities + ROI with possible action plans
- Regular updates on succession planning and top talent management initiatives.
- Responsible to manage budget and spent.
Team Leadership & Change Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of learning and development professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of programs.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
- Act as a change agent, supporting organizational change initiatives through targeted learning and development programs.
- Provide coaching and support to leaders to help them manage change effectively within their teams.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with HRBP + Business Leaders to understand their needs and deliver tailored L&D solutions that drive business results.
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and consultants to enhance program offerings.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the budget for learning and talent management programs, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effective delivery of programs.
Administrative Support:
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks related to learning and development programs, such as scheduling, communications, and record-keeping.
- Assist in managing the budget for training and development activities.
- Provide support for special projects and initiatives within the HR department.
Administrative Support:
- Any other duties and tasks as assigned and/or as required.
Who should join us?
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/bachelor’s degree in human resource of equivalent
- Certification in relevant L&D and talent management areas (e.g., CPLP, SHRM-SCP, HRDC TTT) is a plus.
- 5-10 years of experience, in the related field is required.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities with data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful L&D and talent management programs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other HR technologies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful insights.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
- A driven individual that can work under minimal supervision with speed in executing tasks efficiently.
- Strong speaking communication skills for presentations.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised with multitasking capabilities.
- Digital skills, especially in digital and video production/editing and such.
