Roles & Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Account Receivable

  • Deal with AP invoice-related matters, including account code mapping for PR/PO, PO receiving, key in supplier invoices, liaise with stakeholders for AP invoice matters.
  • Processing of AP payment including preparation of online payment, payment advice and statutory payment.
  • Attending to enquiries on SOA, perform reconciliation and adjustment to accounts and any other matters relating to debtors/creditor ageing;
  • Assist in performing monthly stock reconciliations.
  • Retail sales reconciliation (including ecommerce) and bank reconciliation.
  • Processing of request related to retail sales (example: refund, receipt confirmation).
  • Preparation of invoices to bill to various parties (example: Corporate sales).
  • Manage queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preparation of reports (example: Gross turnover report).
  • Monitor bank transactions and ensure all transactions are accurately posted.

General Ledger

  • Journal preparation.
  • Manage document preparation and ensure that the team able to work together to perform monthly closing promptly.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Assist in preparing SST/WHT/E-Invoicing submission and reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and liaise with auditors, tax agents and other relevant professionals.

Others

  • Perform any other related duties or assignments as and when required by the Management
  • Work with other departments to ensure the delivery of timely and informative reports and the accuracy of accounting data and improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting.
  • Candidate must possess 3 to five years of working experience in the relevant position.
  • Able to work independently familiar with accounting standards, tax laws, and filling procedures.
  • Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiar with the use of office software Word, Excel (special emphasis on functions), Powerpoint, etc.
  • Good verbal and communication skills in English.
  • Meticulous work, strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, team spirit, independent.
  • Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage

Salary Range : RM4,500 to RM5,500
