Our client is seeking a dynamic and visionary CEO to lead and expand their Frozen Seafood operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping strategies to achieve business development, enhance customer satisfaction, and elevate the company's position in the market. You should have solid exposure to the Frozen Seafood export & HORECA markets to be able to spearhead the portfolio company to greater heights.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in the seafood export industry and extensive international experience, particularly in the European and Australian markets. You should have strong relationships with clients across global marketplace and HORECA sectors. As the CEO, you should be competent to manage huge P&L (~USD $250mil.) and design strategies to grow the company to bigger market share globally.

Location: Penang, Malaysia (Relocation Opportunity available)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall management and strategic direction of the company.
  • Drive international expansion and strengthen market presence globally.
  • Manage a significant P&L, ensuring financial targets and business objectives are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong export contacts in various regions to boost market penetration.
  • Implement effective operational strategies to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience senior leadership position within the Frozen Seafood export industry is essential.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale operations with a high turnover revenue responsibility.
  • Strong international exposure, with established contacts in Europe and Australia.
  • Exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • A background in only FMCG will not be considered as candidates with Frozen Seafood industry experience will be mandatory.
