The Solution Engineer will report functionally and administratively to the Technical & Project Manager of JUNG Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The role is to support the Technical & Project Manager from pre-project planning to the overall project implementation including preparation of solution; design all required schematic drawings; manage project delivery; site-coordination; ensure all documentation/ paper works are accurate and up to date etc. as stated in the Job Descriptions.
Interim, this role will continue to support the office administrative for day-to-day warehouse & stock management; and support the sales for sales proposal/drawing when required.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
· Liaise and support on technical design related issues including preparation of solution and design all required schematic drawings for respective contractors to ensure all aspects of integration are compiled and prevent any miscommunications.
· Prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
· Determine improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services. Reviewing engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
· To work with Technical Manager in research, develop and implement innovative solution in response to or in anticipation or new/ existing client requirement.
· Support sales team in design & establishing technical proposal/ solution of JUNG’s offering (For on-going project which had hand over to project team). Note: Interim to assist/ support sales team to establish proposal/drawing when needed.
· Project management from effectively schedule project timelines, estimate & manage project budget, manage/arrange of resources, manage product delivery (to work with office administrative to manage delivery lead time), effective communication with project participants to provide technical support, coordinate site works, monitor progress, ensure accurate and up to date documentation etc.
· Requesting and reviewing project related bids or tenders from contractors/ system integrators etc. Control project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor/ system integrators contracts.
· In- charge and maintains of project files and data files (e.g. ETS files). Prepares project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends; sorting, entering and backing up data; recommending/ proposed actions.
· Dotted line and assist Technical Department in compliance/ regulatory affairs. Liaise, negotiate and work closely with local regulatory (Suruhanjaya Tenaga, SIRIM and etc). Plan, undertake and oversee product trials and regulatory inspection. Keep up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines.
· Dotted line and assist Technical Department and Management to prepare process flow, SOP’s, and official documents.
· Provide service call for existing clients to resolve issues or to works and coordinate with the appointed System Integrator for the service call.
· Expert in JUNG’s solutions inclusive of the 3rd party items that integrates with JUNG’s system.
· Providing solution for JUNG’s switches and sockets installation and way to improvise on the installation by mean of preparing the correct materials/tools such as Installation Guideline, Videos and templates.
· Expert in JUNG’s partner system such as Siedle/ Trivum/ Cytech etc.
· Assist admin & account executive in warehouse & stock management/ sample preparation.
· Any ad-hoc duties assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATION
(i) Qualification/ Experience:
· Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
· Minimum 3 years working experience specializing in Project management, Sales Support Engineering/Technical/IT or equivalent
· Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
· Experience & knowledge with Microsoft Office / Ai Illustrator / AutoCAD/ KNX will be an added advantage
· Preference will be given to candidate with Good understanding of automation, control system and/or related solution delivery
· Applicants must be willing to work in Bangsar South area
· Possess Own Transport and Willing to Travel
