Randstad is partnering with a Multinational FMCG group with a strong presence internationally. They are currently hiring for a new Assistant Finance Manager to join their team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

About The Job

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the oversight of the finance department's daily operations. Your responsibilities will include management reporting, financial analysis, statutory reporting, and driving process improvement initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and the smooth operation of finance activities. Key Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Management Reporting for Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and Cambodia
  • Financial Analysis and Budgeting

About The Manager/team

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in finance operations, management reporting, auditing, tax, and compliance.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4 HANA, D365).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of initiative, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in the F&B or FMCG sectors, particularly in multinational companies or shared service centers.
  • Knowledge of E-invoicing regulations and transfer pricing.
  • Familiarity with financial improvement projects and credit control processes.
