The IT Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of various IT projects, with a focus on managing initiatives across Malaysia and other international locations. In addition, responsible for ensuring that projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget while meeting quality standards and aligning with business goals.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget allocation.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering collaboration, motivation, and accountability to achieve project goals.
  • Coordinate with various teams and departments to allocate resources effectively for project execution.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any issues or concerns.
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budget constraints, seeking approval for any necessary budget adjustments.

Establish and maintain quality standards for project deliverables, conducting regular reviews and inspections to ensure compliance.

  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources, assessing the impact on project objectives and communicating changes to stakeholders.
  • Manage IT projects that may involve overseas locations, coordinating activities and resources across different geographical areas.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and cultural sensitivities in overseas project execution.
  • Travel to overseas locations as required to oversee project activities and facilitate coordination with local teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks and or project that assigned by the Management from time-to-time.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices, such as Agile. Or Scrum.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience working with international teams or managing oversea partnership is added advantage.
