The Client Development Manager is a “difference maker” who will play a critical role in growing RGP to a $1B professional services organization. Through a focused account management and expansion strategy, specifically within the Finance and Accounting sector, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the revenue growth and global expansion of the organization.
THE POSITION
We are seeking a Client Development Manager (CDM) who will be instrumental in growing market revenue in the Malaysia Market. Through new business development, management, and expansion of existing client relationships/accounts, you will be responsible for managing the sales process from start to finish and have oversight of consultant engagements. In keeping with our entrepreneurial culture, the CDM will help build and own a client portfolio while working as a business partner with our Regional Vice President and Market Leader for Malaysia to achieve key business objectives.
This includes:
Accountability for the sales activity by business development and client engagement to achieve revenue and gross margin target
Motivating learning client issues in wide variety industry to provide relevant resources
Conducting account planning and proactively seeks to bring innovative ideas and approaches to the account strategy by utilizing modern sales automation tools
Owning and driving key strategic pursuits, leveraging the full range of RGP resources, including APAC and global team member, as appropriate
Acting as the trusted business partner to Clients and internal team of Talent Acquisition and Operation
Maintaining an executive presence with a strong ability to interact with senior/C-level leaders
Ability to leverage and build a business network in the Malaysia Market
OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE
Ability to generate leads, identify opportunities, and leveraging available RGP resources to enhance account penetration
Fosters cross-functional collaboration to deliver RGP values to clients and drive continuous improvement in the services and solutions RGP brings to the marketplace
Identifies, monitors, and manages delivery performance, project risk and new opportunities within assigned accounts in partnership with Talent Management and/or Delivery Management leads
Develops and maintains effective relationships with diverse stakeholder groups with short-term demand and mid-term opportunities
Learns efficient way of business development and sales activity tools with high IT literacy knowledge
Executes and delivers against established KPIs and performance metrics
Executes and supports account planning and forecasting activities, as appropriate, in support of enterprise and regional objectives
Supports integration of enterprise and cross-functional initiatives across account portfolio, including account planning, forecasting, budgeting, and best practices
Contributes to RGP’s continuous improvement through involvement in account-related case studies, collateral and thought leadership, and the identification of client and market trends relevant for future RGP opportunities and solutions
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution
5-8 years business development/sales experience with Fortune 500 (global) organizations
Ability to learn newly introduced business development tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, etc.)
Experience selling professional services within large accounts preferred
Strong capacity for networking and generating lasting business relationships
Ability to build new business relationships as well as generate new revenue within existing clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sense of urgency creating and achieving goals
Excellent ability to motivate and influence others both internally and externally
