Overview:

Working collaboratively with the Global Sales and Marketing Teams, the Business Development Manager will lead the planning and acquisition of incremental business with new and existing Ambrell Customers in the Asia Market. In addition to working with the Global Sales Team, this position will be responsible for working collaboratively with existing Distributors in the Region and the Global Applications Team to secure additional business. The position will be measured by incremental revenue generated. Additionally, this position will support targeted Marketing Campaigns and drive incremental business growth in those areas.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and document, in cooperation with the Leadership Team, a go-to-market strategy and Global Business Development Plan, for acquiring incremental business by expanding our installed base of equipment across new and existing Ambrell customers throughout Asia

• Manage regional distributors. Evaluate distributor performance and recommend / execute distributor strategy.

• Lead in the execution of the Business Development Strategy to gain incremental business by working collaboratively with the Ambrell Direct Sales Team & existing or new Distributors

• In collaboration with Marketing, Sales & Applications Lab, create a value proposition, promotions, sales collateral and other marketing communications elements to support efforts to secure incremental business for Ambrell in the region

• Use Microsoft Dynamics (MSD) CRM for sales pipeline management to record and report on activities, progress, forecasts and results.

• Enter all opportunities into (MSD) including all required data

• Maintain an accurate forecast of identified opportunities in MSD

• Participate in the weekly Global Sales Forecast Review Meeting

• Coordinate Customer Visits to the inTEST Malaysia Facility to promote and run applications/trials

• Work with the Global Marketing & Applications Team to conduct Webinars in the Asian Market

Job Requirement:

• Minimum 10 years related sales/business development with revenue responsibility in Asia

• Experience on an international basis with global, multinational corporations with a focus on Asian Market

5 -10 years of experience in Industrial Heating Products/Markets; Induction Heating experience a plus.

• Proven Technical Sales Experience & Territory/Account Management in Asian Market through direct and indirect Sales Channels.

• Self-Starter who works collaboratively with Leadership & Distributors to set and achieve/exceed sales targets/objectives for the Territory.

• Experience working with products that are consumed by business in industrial markets and who produce manufactured products.

• Extensive travel (50%)
