Finance/Account Executive (Conso/GL/Budget)

Job Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of accounts and financial activities specific to the construction industry, including accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Verify and process invoices related to construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
• Oversee payment collection processes, ensuring timely receipt of payments from clients and vendors.
• Integrate accounting data with construction management software.
• Perform day-to-day accounting operations such as journal entries, cost allocations, and expense tracking specific to construction projects.
• Conduct month-end closing activities, including reconciliations of project accounts and preparation of financial statements tailored to construction projects.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent, with a strong understanding of financial principles applicable to the construction industry.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting or finance roles within the construction sector, with a proven track record of managing project finances and reporting.
• Familiarity with construction accounting software (e.g., IFCA or ERP systems) preferred.
• Ability to interpret construction contracts and ensure financial compliance with contract terms is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly in reconciling project costs and revenues.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with project managers, contractors, and clients.
• Proactive problem-solving skills to address financial issues that may arise during the course of construction projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
