DETAILED JOB DUTIES (below is for reference)

  • Handling all of company's sourcing activities.
  • Obtaining quotes from different suppliers.
  • Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
  • Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal for supplier selection based on the quotes.
  • Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation.
  • Recording sourcing outcome and updating sourcing database with targeted requirement (lead time, cost).
  • Analysing supplier performance and updating supplier database (delivery, cost, quality, responsive, technology, capability, payment term).
  • Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers.
  • Visiting supplier’s production line and auditing supplier performance with validation.
  • Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.
  • Managing and optimizing sourcing system and processes.

DETAILED JOB REQUIREMENTS (below is for reference)

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Preferably a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Sound time-management and organizational skills.
  • Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude.
  • Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent worker.
  • Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Have solid knowledge and understanding of sourcing processes, policy and systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sourcing software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, establish and administer contracts
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of technical documentation.
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work well under stress in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work well with management and with staff of all level.
  • Able to complete tasks within committed timeline.
  • Open to learn new things.
