About the Internship:

As a Credit Risk Intern at AstraZeneca, you'll be at the forefront of our finance operations, gaining hands-on experience in managing credit risk and shaping the financial future of a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry. Typical Accountabilities:

  • Perform simple credit reviews for all assigned accounts according to the established schedule.
  • Monitor account status, credit alerts, and communicate findings if significant risk is identified.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit master data details and records.
  • Execute and analyze monthly credit risk reports to ensure proper risk categorization and credit limit utilization.
  • Act as a point of escalation for credit risk, system, process, and project advice where required, supporting with ad-hoc requests.
  • Make adjustments, handle queries, and resolve problems within company guidelines and policy.

What We're Looking For:

  • Passion for Finance: Currently studying for a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent, with a burning curiosity for credit risk management.
  • Analytical Skills: Eager to develop your ability to read and analyze financial statements, demonstrating a hunger for understanding financial data.
  • Communication: Proficient in English with a desire to engage with stakeholders at all levels, learning to articulate your insights and contribute to meaningful discussions.
