Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

  • Write engaging and persuasive copy for digital ads, print ads, social media, websites, brochures, and email campaigns.
  • Develop slogans, taglines, and brand messages that resonate with the target audience.

Concept Development:

  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to brainstorm and develop advertising campaign ideas.
  • Create unique advertising concepts that align with business goals.

Editing & Proofreading:

  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency with the brand's tone and messaging.
  • Ensure all content is grammatically correct and error-free.

Research & Audience Understanding:

  • Research products, competitors, and target audiences to develop relevant, impactful copy.
  • Understand the client’s audience to craft compelling, audience-specific narratives.

Project Management:

  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (designers, marketers, and clients) to ensure cohesive messaging.

Brand Consistency:

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing communications.
  • Adapt writing style for various campaigns and platforms while preserving the brand identity.

Optimization & Analytics:

  • Track and analyze the performance of ad copy, making data-driven improvements.
  • Optimize copy based on feedback and analytics to enhance engagement and conversion rates.

Client Communication:

  • Liaise with clients to understand their goals and deliver copy that meets their expectations.
  • Present ideas and concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Copywriter, preferably in an advertising or creative agency.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing ad copy, taglines, and campaigns across different media platforms (digital, print, social).

Skills:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong creative thinking, storytelling, and conceptualizing abilities.
  • Ability to write compelling and persuasive copy for different audiences.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
  • Experience in handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with writing tools (e.g., Grammarly, Hemingway) and project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptable to feedback and capable of handling constructive criticism.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong eye for grammar, spelling, and consistency.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
