Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts, to understand their challenges, objectives, and opportunities for leveraging data science solutions.
- Proactively identify and define potential business use cases where data science techniques and models can provide valuable insights and drive impactful outcomes.
- Conduct in-depth discussions with business users to capture and document detailed requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of desired outcomes and deliverables.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques to explore and analyze relevant data sets, uncover patterns, correlations, and trends that can inform the development of effective data science solutions.
- Create visually compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Lead the design and development of data science models, algorithms, and prototypes to address identified business use cases, considering scalability, feasibility, and technical constraints.
- Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to implement and operationalize data science models into production environments, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and processes.
- Conduct rigorous evaluation and testing of implemented models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and alignment with business requirements. Make necessary refinements and optimizations as needed.
- A degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, programming languages such as Python or R, and Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch. Familiarity with data visualization tools and SQL is desirable.
- Strong business understanding and the ability to translate business requirements into data science solutions effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to engage with business users, explain technical concepts, and build rapport with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to transform complex business challenges into actionable data science use cases.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end data science projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, and post deployment support.
