Event Crew / Banquet Crew

Duties and Responsibility:

• Assist with event preparation, set up and closing, including setting up and tear down tables, table cloths and place settings.
• Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
• Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
• Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
• If no upcoming events, please have rooms in a readiness position for any possible site inspections.
• Work closely with immediate supervisor and to perform any ad-hoc task as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Position Requirements:

1. Qualifications: Minimum SPM

2. Experience: Work experience as a Banquet Server or similar role

3. Skills / Competencies:

a. Courteous and attentive to guests

b. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, such as stand and walk for extended periods and carrying heavy objects

c. Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills

d. Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions

e. Willingness to work nights and weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Schedule:

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kuching: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• STM/STPM (Preferred)
