Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Recruiter located in Penang, Malaysia. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates, as well as managing the end-to-end recruitment process. Their day-to-day tasks include conducting interviews, building candidate pipelines, and collaborating with hiring managers to fulfill staffing needs.

The incumbent will be responsible for all strategic recruiting related initiatives including job board relationships, external education on recruitment strategies, sourcing strategy creation, innovation in internet and social media sourcing and appropriate brand presence on the internet /recruiting marketplace. He/ She will where be required, form solid working relationship with recruitment vendors networks across in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process which includes sourcing of resumes, screening and shortlisting candidates, coordinating interviews and participating in selection process.

• Source candidates through portals, headhunting, social media and the internal referral program.

• Plan and carry out on-campus recruiting events. Establish and maintain good relationships with colleges, universities and private campus/school.

• Develop a network of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to have a quick turnaround time.

• Develop and support recruiting activities that build relationships with internal groups to ensure that diverse recruiting resources are tapped into.

• Research trends in recruitment techniques and track hiring results on designated recruiting events and job postings.

• Manage and develop offers in line with approved guidelines and negotiate offers with candidates

• Conduct required background/reference checks for prospective candidates.

• Facilitate proactive business partnerships with key business leaders and hiring managers to gain inputs and support for the acquisition of high-quality talent to the business.

• Demonstrate business acumen with HR knowledge to advise business leaders on best practices on recruitment and external recruitment market conditions, measures to improve employee retention etc.

• Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc)

• Support the implementation of overall recruitment strategy across Northern Region.

Qualifications

  • Posses at least Diploma in related field and equivalent
  • At least 1 year experience in recruitment
  • Posses own transportation
  • Able to travel
  • Result-oriented, Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledgeable in F&B/FMCG Industry.
