- Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting department's daily operations, encompassing financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, stock management, profit & loss variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and yearly group accounts consolidation.
- Supervision of day-to-day accounting activities and to control, maintain and review overall accounting and financial reporting functions.
- Accurate record-keeping in the accounts receivable, account payable and all general ledgers.
- Leading the account department in achieving monthly closing of management accounts.
- Consolidation of the group financial statements on a quarterly basis and ad-ho basis as required by senior management.
- Ensuring smooth running of the accounting software system.
- Liaising with auditors, tax agents and company secretaries to ensure compliance with all matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements.
- Preparing current year tax computation for tax estimation and liaising with the tax agents on all matters related to Group tax position.
- Preparing financial reports for the Group, as required for any corporate exercises to be undertaken by the Group e.g. IPO.
- Undertake any other duties related to accounts and finance that may be assigned from time to time.
- Ad-hoc tasks assigned by senior management.
- Professional Certificate / Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 5 year(s) of working experience in related field.
- Experience with the SAP system is considered an added advantage.
- Computer literate in MS Windows and Office.
- Good personality and communication skills, able to communicate in English, Malay with all levels staff and across departments.
