  • Food Preparation: Assist in basic food preparation.
  • Cooking Assistance: Help chefs with cooking tasks. Plate and garnish dishes as directed by the chef. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of cooking stations.
  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Wash and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes. Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including counters, floors, and storage areas. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Stock Management: Assist with receiving and storing food supplies. Report low stock or any issues with food quality to the chef. Help in organizing kitchen inventory.
  • Team Support: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Perform other tasks as assigned by the chef or supervisor.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all food items are prepared according to safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work on weekends and holidays.
  • Understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene standards.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long hours and carry heavy items.
  • Prior experience in a kitchen is a must.
