Job Summary:
The Accounts cum Admin Assistant will be responsible for supporting both the finance and administrative activities of the Company. This role includes handling day-to-day book keeping accounting tasks such as data entry, invoices and purchase orders processing, AP and AR, while also assisting with general administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable in the accounting system.
- Ensure accurate and timely input of invoices, bills and payment details.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Generate purchase orders to support project team requirements timely.
- Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy according to purchase orders and that payments are made on time.
- Generate and send customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain and monitor petty cash and expenses claims.
- Prepare and reconcile employee expenses claims for approval.
- Organize and maintain accurate records and filing of all financial documents.
- Coordinate office maintenance and liaise with vendors or suppliers as needed.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
- To communicate with vendors / customers by emails as needed.
Qualifications:
- LCCL/Diploma/Degree in Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experiences in book keeping accounting or similar role.
- Full set of accounting experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Auto Count, SQL) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken in English, Malay and Mandarin.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, proactive and dedicated.
- Own transportation is essential.
