Job Summary:

The Accounts cum Admin Assistant will be responsible for supporting both the finance and administrative activities of the Company. This role includes handling day-to-day book keeping accounting tasks such as data entry, invoices and purchase orders processing, AP and AR, while also assisting with general administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable in the accounting system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely input of invoices, bills and payment details.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
  • Generate purchase orders to support project team requirements timely.
  • Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy according to purchase orders and that payments are made on time.
  • Generate and send customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Maintain and monitor petty cash and expenses claims.
  • Prepare and reconcile employee expenses claims for approval.
  • Organize and maintain accurate records and filing of all financial documents.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and liaise with vendors or suppliers as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
  • To communicate with vendors / customers by emails as needed.

Qualifications:

  • LCCL/Diploma/Degree in Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experiences in book keeping accounting or similar role.
  • Full set of accounting experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Auto Count, SQL) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken in English, Malay and Mandarin.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, proactive and dedicated.
  • Own transportation is essential.
