  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary:

Sadhana Demolition & Engineering Sdn Bhd is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Site Engineer to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to learn and grow in the demolition and construction industry. The successful candidate will assist in the execution of demolition projects, to ensure the safe and efficient removal of structures and machinery, adhering to all safety regulations and project specifications. The role involves site inspections, coordinating with internal team, consultants and sub-contractors, and managing day-to-day on-sites tasks to ensure the project progresses smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of demolition projects on-site.
  • Support project team in conducting site assessments and preparing project documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Collaborate with site teams to maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards and report any incident immediately.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and subcontractors to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Perform daily site inspections to monitor work quality and report any issues.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate site reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Recent graduate with a strong academic background; prior internship or practical experience in construction is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of construction and demolition processes is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to various project sites and own transportation is essential.
  • Able to work flexible hour and outstations according to project requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD) is an advantage.
  • Can work independently and proactively, results orientated.
