We are now hiring for a Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager, Finance (6 Months Maternity Cover) to be based in Singapore office.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, is responsible for following:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, accounting and reporting functions of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable team.
- Ensure timely and accurate month end closing of accounts and in compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
- Prepare monthly journals and audit schedules
- Prepare financial reports and monthly reporting, including analyse monthly financial results
- Review statistical survey, GST return, accounts receivables, accounts payables, inter-company and bank reconciliation statements
- Responsible for cash flow management, budgetary planning and preparation
- Maintain financial system database and assist in developing and implementing internal control and procedures
- Prepare group consolidation accounts quarterly and analyse group Sales & CAPEX results half-yearly.
- Group review on plant performance and cost controls.
- Ensure timely announcement of results and other ad-hoc matters to SGX in compliance with SGX listing rules
- Liaise with external parties such as auditor, tax agent, bankers, company secretary and government department.
- Responsible for interim and year end audit, tax computation and filing, statutory reporting and annual report disclosure and preparation
- Assist Financial Controller and top management in any ad-hoc assignments, including Group review.
- Review SG entity costing and its transactions with other intercompany within the group
- Review credit, stock aging etc.
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting or its equivalent
- At least 5 years relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing environment
- Able to work independently under tight reporting datelines
- Familiar with SGX requirements
- Strong communication skills and experience in dealing with people at all levels
- Sound accounting knowledge and ability to enhance group’s accounting policies and procedures
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Knowledge of QAD an added advantage
- Previous work experience in BIG 4 audit firms will be added advantage
