Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Engineer at IO Setia Ventures. The Project Engineer will be responsible for project management, project engineering, project planning, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. While the role is based in Nilai, there is flexibility for some remote work.

Job Description

1. Lead and execute all works and other directed projects.

2. Planning, coordinating and manufacturing equipment.

3. Assessing project proposals to determine their feasibility and practicality.

4. Ensuring quality and standards are met according to specifications.

5. To assist Operations Manager to coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for smooth project execution.

6. To ensure all crew full compliance to HSE especially for training and briefing.

7. Coordinate with Operations Manager to liaise with Head Office on material, consumables and equipment stocks.

8. To monitor progress project and to ensure all the projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

9. Ensure timely preparation and submission of report and follow-up with clients on the Completion of Report.

10. To ensure all related documents signed by client for payment purpose.

11. Conduct the mandatory Pre-Job Meeting for every job to review job scope and HSE matters.

12. Ensure crews are provided with adequate PPE, attended and certified for all the mandatory certification required by clients.

13. Ensure job Customer Satisfaction Survey form is filled and signed by client.

14. Assist Senior Project Engineer in the administration matters.

Qualifications

  • Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Project Management and Project Engineering expertise
  • Ability in Project Planning
  • Knowledge of Electrical Engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
