Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate orders received from customers to create suitable production schedules and manufacturing orders using ERP system.
  • Analyse back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan and schedule the production operations to ensure maximum performance ,minimum down time and meeting delivery time frame.
  • Responsible to ensure resources (manpower, equipment, materials) are available to meet production operation and requirements.
  • Track and estimate inventory levels required for production and request/coordinate for purchase of materials should materials are at low levels.
  • Monitor execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion.
  • Work closely with QC, QA, R&D, Warehouse, Store, Maintenance, Purchasing and other staff for all production and food safety related activities.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Engineering/Maintenance team in planning and implementing preventive maintenance and engineering changes in production lines.
  • Regularly provide production status updates to management and relevant departments and facilitating timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Liaise with sales team or customers on estimated delivery date.
  • Responsible for stock accuracy between Physical location and ERP System through active participation in cycle count and stock count activities.
  • Responsible for accuracy of information in ERP system.
  • Continuously review planning methodologies to ensure optimum performance.
  • Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives.
  • Requirements:

    • A minimum Degree holder in any discipline.
    • At least Three (3) years working experiences as planner, FMCG experience will be an advantage.
    • Knowledge and experience in MRP and ERP systems.
    • Computer literate and skilled in MS Office applications particularly at MS Excel.
    • Proven analytical skills, demonstrated ability to make decisions on numerical data.
    • Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
    • Good communication abilities across a variety of settings to technical and non technical groups.
    • Organised, result-driven with strong attention to detail and great problem solving skills.
    • Able to work under pressure, as a team or independently and meet tight deadlines.
