Job Description:
- Lead the industrialization of mechanical and mechatronics solutions, including designing 2D and 3D drawings and setting parameters for parts and assemblies.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to define new components by drafting functional specifications and consulting suppliers.
- Generate comprehensive bills of materials (BOM), detailing wear parts, their frequency of change, and criticality.
- Manage versioning of bills of materials and drawings.
- Oversee approvals and qualifications of new equipment.
- Handle obsolescence and substitution management.
- Provide technical support to production units through module owners.
- Produce support materials for the deployment of new developments.
- Conduct mechanical and mechatronics training
- Inspect and diagnose components.
- Ensure that standards are user-friendly and meet product managers' needs.
- Produce explanatory documents for module operation.
- Compile existing control documents required for machine setup and draft new ones.
- Make proposals for changes to company's standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 6 years working experience
- Ability to read and understand designs and schematics
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
