JOB PURPOSE:

Lead and drive the strategic development, execution, and management of integrated marketing, branding, and events initiatives that align with corporate objectives. The role ensures cohesive brand positioning, drives revenue growth, and fosters stakeholder engagement while maintaining the company’s competitive advantage.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Marketing Strategy & Campaigns

  • Drive the marketing strategy for organisation’s products and services, ensuring alignment with corporate goals to increase utilisation and revenue generation.
  • Develop and drive data-driven marketing strategies that promote services to external stakeholders and position the organisation as a leader in its sector.
  • Strategically leverage digital and traditional channels to maximise impact, enhance customer engagement, and increase market penetration.
  • Lead marketing analytics, ensuring decisions are guided by data, insights, and
    performance metrics to optimise marketing ROI.

Corporate Brand Strategy Management

  • Architect and drive organisation’s corporate brand strategy, establishing a strong, cohesive brand identity that resonates with stakeholders and enhances market presence.
  • Develop brand architecture, policies, and guidelines to ensure a unified and consistent approach across all corporate communication and marketing activities.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to enhance brand loyalty, recognition, and differentiation, ensuring the organisation’s competitive advantage and positioning are maintained.

Collateral Development & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee the development and publication of all communication materials and creative content to ensure alignment with brand consistency, professionalism, and adherence to corporate guidelines.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for creative content by maintaining the accuracy, quality, and alignment of all communication collaterals with organisation's messaging and brand identity to enhance brand credibility and image.

Event Management

  • Strategically plan, oversee, and deliver high-impact corporate events that align with organisational objectives and brand standards.
  • Provide guidance on event execution at the national levels, ensuring consistency with corporate branding and marketing goals.
  • Lead high-profile events that reinforce the organisation’s leadership and visibility in the market.

Partnership Marketing & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with key external stakeholders, focusing on collaboration to maximise marketing efforts and broaden corporate outreach.
  • Drive engagement strategies that deepen relationships with stakeholders and partners, aligning with corporate objectives to enhance organisational impact and ensure all marketing partnerships and collaborations contribute to long-term brand growth and revenue generation.

QUALIFICATIONS & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree in marketing, business, or strategic communications would be an added advantage.
  • Professional certifications in marketing, digital marketing, brand management, or events management (e.g., CIM, AMA, or equivalent) would be an added advantage.
  • 12 - 15 years of experience in communications, marketing, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the corporate sector or government-related organizations is highly
    desirable.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing corporate brand strategies, managing large-scale marketing projects, and aligning them with organisational goals.
  • Strong experience in digital marketing strategies, analytics, and multi-channel campaign management.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement, partnership marketing, and collaboration across internal and external networks.
  • Event management experience at both national and regional levels, including planning, execution, and overseeing complex corporate events.
