Get to Know the Role

In Tech Infra, you will be reporting to our Tech Support Engineer Manager, you'll handle level 1 issues, fulfill requests, and support cloud infrastructure and developer tooling. Further you'll support platform engineering, developer tools, and data streams, catering to a diverse range of customers across Grab.

These roles are important for serving our large developer community and managing complex tools and automation requirements. You'll contribute to large-scale data infrastructure and advanced data automation, use monitoring tools to track system metrics and minimize disruptions, collaborate with teams to optimize system performance, conduct post-incident reviews for process refinement, and maintain a dynamic dashboard using SuperSet and Google Data Studio(GDS).

This office is based in Petaling Jaya and hybrid working.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • You will manage the knowledge platform, serve as an escalation point for Grab's data platform, and provide big data technologies to teams.
  • You will support automation and monitoring tools within the Kubernetes ecosystem, and assist in developing technical roadmaps.
  • You will engage in incident management, cater to real-time data needs, and prioritize self-service and automation.
  • You will work with the infrastructure team to build services, conduct analysis, and enforce security and compliance procedures.
  • You will aid the developer community, emphasize automation, and work with the security team to incorporate needs into automated guardrails.
  • You will design new configurations for cloud resource use, respond to Tech Monitoring alerts, investigate issues, and determine escalation needs.
