Our client, a leading commercial interior design and build company is looking for a Contract Executive / Senior Contract Executive who will be responsible for pre and post contract management, contract negotiations and contract administration.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To administer pre-contract work including analyzing scope of tender, sourcing of sub-contractors, preparing pricing and submission of tender.
  • Preparation of BQ, measurement and costing for Tender or Non-Tender and ensure compliance with contractual requirement.
  • Preparation of development budgets and setting up, managing and monitoring compliance with internal cost control systems, administration and management of payments, variations claim and orders, cost evaluation and providing advice on budgets, expenditure and general costing.
  • To participate in site visits, tender interviews and site progress meetings.
  • To attend internal and external meetings with Sales Team, Project Team, Contractors, consultants and vendors including managing contractual issues and resolving disputes when required.
  • To assist in the overall administrative matters of main contracts including preparation of monthly progress claim, variation order and final account for tender project.
  • To prepare interim payments to sub-contractor based on site valuation.
  • Liaise with designers during the pre-contract stage to understand overall design, providing accurate cost.
  • To assist with administrative duties and ensure compliance to ISO Standards.
  • To assist in other duties as and when assigned by superior or any of the company’s duly authorized officers.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveyor relevant
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience preferably from interior design industry
  • Experience in pre-contract work in handling scope of tender, sourcing for sub-contractors, preparing pricing and submission of tender
  • Good in English both written and communication
